2021 Update
At first glance, I suppose that the dormancy of this space bears a bit of explanation. But then again, I’m not sure that 2020 needs any explanation at all. Like so many others, I have had to assume a state of perpetual purgatory as we ‘wait for the world to start again’. While any career momentum has been stalled indefinitely, I still have continued to pursue various musical projects, including the completion of some new original arrangements, ever-expanding my repertoire, some academic writing, the completion of my doctorate (in September ‘20) and some new recording projects. As we continue to hope for a return to normalcy in the face of repeated setbacks, I have been forced to embrace the present reality and attempt to find ways to share my artistry in hopefully meaningful ways. As a result, I will be posting here more frequently in the coming months with more videos, writing and news.

Tchaikovsky’s music has always captivated me for its effortless lyricism, emotional intensity and pictorial imagery. So, I’ve decided to make a little study project of each of “The Seasons” Op. 37b during its corresponding month, and posting the results on the final day.
